Support Statement for Pentaho Solution Repository on Amazon RDS

Overview: Pentaho supports hosting the Pentaho solution repository on Amazon RDS, using one of the currently supported PostgreSQL, Oracle, MySQL, or MS SQL database engines that corresponds with a given Pentaho version.

The Pentaho Components Reference has a list of specific versions of PostgreSQL, Oracle, MySQL, and MS SQL that are supported for repository use with Pentaho. For example, the following database engines are supported for repository use on Amazon RDS with Pentaho 8.3:

Database Engine Versions Supported for Pentaho 8.3
MySQL 5.6 and 5.7
Oracle 11.2 and 12.1
PostgreSQL 9.5 and 9.6
MS SQL Server 2014 and 2016
